Market data

Where do the prices come from?

Quotes, charts, extended-hours trades, earnings dates, short interest, insider filings and analyst targets come from public market data services. Lazagrone shows them as received.

Are prices delayed?

Prices refresh about every 30 seconds while a screen is open during trading hours. Depending on the source, a quote can be delayed, and pre-market, after-hours and index values may lag further. Each quote shows the time it was last updated. Check prices with your broker before acting on them.

Why does the 1D chart show shaded areas?

The shaded bands are pre-market (4:00–9:30 a.m. ET) and after-hours (4:00–8:00 p.m. ET) trading. Isolated odd-lot prints that sit far from nearby trades are left out of the chart line; the trade list on the symbol page keeps every print.

How is the earnings move calculated?

For each past report, Lazagrone compares the last close before the report date with the close of the session after it. This covers reports released before the open and after the close. The average move is the average size of up to the last four of those moves and describes history only.

Which companies are in Large-Cap Breadth and Movers?

Sixty large US-listed companies across sectors. The Dollar Volume and Nasdaq-100 lists come directly from the market data service.

Setups

Does Lazagrone place orders?

No. Lazagrone doesn't connect to a brokerage, place orders or hold money. A setup is a written plan; the app compares its levels with market prices and records what happened.

How are setups followed?

Only regular-session prices count (9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. ET). Today's session uses intraday prices; earlier sessions use daily highs and lows. When one daily bar touches both the stop and the target, the stop is counted first. If a session opens beyond your entry, stop or target, the open is used. Prices are checked when you open the app or pull to refresh.

What does R mean?

R is the amount a setup risks: the loss if the stop is reached. A result of +2R means the gain was twice the planned risk. Shares are sized as risk amount ÷ |entry − stop|, rounded down.

Why hasn't my setup started?

A setup waits until a regular-session price reaches its entry. Breakout entries wait for the price to reach the level from below (long) or above (short); pullback entries wait for the opposite. If the entry isn't reached within the time you chose, the setup expires without a result.

How do I change the account size or risk per setup?

Open Desk, tap the gear, and edit Account Size or Risk per Setup. New setups and the Position Size calculator use these values. They aren't linked to a brokerage account.

Your data

Where is my watchlist stored?

Your watchlist, setups and settings are stored on your iPhone. Lazagrone has no accounts.

How do I delete my data?

In Settings, use Clear Finished Setups, Delete All Setups or Reset Watchlist. Deleting the app also removes the data it stored.
